Cayman Cookout 2010 - Celebrity Chefs
Wow! What a weekend! I was hired by the Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman and the Cayman Islands Department of Tourism as the official photographer for the 2010 Cayman Cookout! This may be the most exciting (certainly best tasting) event I have ever covered. The first photo is from last night’s Gala Dinner at Blue. As 140 guests enjoyed champagne and waited anxiously for the doors to open, I had about 30 SECONDS to photograph CELEBRITY CHEFS José Andrés, Dean Fearing, Eric Ripert, Anthony Bourdain, Grant Achatz and David Chang. Talk about working under pressure. The staff at The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman were all so accommodating and hospitable. Thank you Ritz-Carlton for making ME feel so welcome and a part of the festivities. La Prairie’s Silver Rain Spa was a welcome sanctuary during those long 12 hour days. Five Star Service… Like Five Star Service SHOULD be! Thanks again to everyone at The Ritz-Carlton!

Had the pleasure of being there for the Cayman Cookout and to also celebrate a birthday, you did a wonderful job of capturing all the right moments David Wolfe. I must say that there is no other place that can host this event…….The staff at the Ritz know how to not only do things right but do things unforgettably. I will be celebrating another birthday there next year and enjoying the Chefs, who by the way were all very friendly, approachable and just plain fun.
